“the evolution of beauty”

i’m not too sure how i feel about dove’s “campaign for real beauty,” but this short video makes you realize how easily we buy into the “look” to which society pressures us to conform, which is amazingly fake.

i personally couldn’t stand to have my face on a billboard knowing it’s not even how i look at all. i’ve never been a fan of photoshopping blemishes in portraits.. i think it’s actually rather insulting.
