she’d talk forever about the phases of the moon, saying, “everything is a cycle, you’ve got to let it come to you. and when it does, you will know what to do”
today was a long day but it ended pretty well. i have officially been vegan for a year! woohoo! devon was a saint and made me food and brought it to me still warm, and i thoroughly enjoyed it in class for lunch. then i promptly fell asleep (as i always do in that class) immediately after. i tried eating a clif bar to keep me awake, but it’s impossible. it’s in an auditorium, with the lights low, and a powerpoint, in comfy seats… it’s futile.
then later i had outdoor adventure skills and we were maybe gonna go snow shoeing/xc skiing but it had been warm and most of the snow melted and then refroze so the conditions weren’t great for it. so instead we’re having “class” at megan-mack’s (my professor) house next saturday, and learning winter camping skills. and then just hanging out and whatnot. so today we were at the rock wall again. it was great, i got belay certified and then rapelled for the first time. it was a lot of fun. now that we’re all getting more comfortable with each other and with the climbing i think we’re all having more fun.
i haven’t done anything remotely homework-related in forever. oops!
